| New York, August 17--Protesters are planning a 24/7 occupation of the British Consulate at 845 Third Avenue in support of Julian Assange who has been offered asylum in Ecuador. However the UK government has stated not only that it will arrest Assange if he tries to leave the Ecuadorian Embassy in London where he has sought refuge, but also that it will revoke Ecuador's diplomatic privileges and arrest him at the Embassy.
